Academic Record / Academic Advisement Report (AAR): AAR section
The Academic Advisement Report (AAR) is an interactive graduation audit tool that shows a student's progress towards graduation. It lists the requirements for each of the students enrolled plans and slots the student's coursework into these requirements, allowing students and advisors to see which requirements are finished and which still need to be completed.
- Students can collapse or expand requirements, making unfulfilled requirements easy to find.
- Within the AAR in CX, students can see class details such as descriptions, requirements, and seat availability, then add classes to their My Planner and Shopping Cart.
- AARs can also be viewed in a PDF summary format which is shorter and can be easier to read.
- Students and Advisors can generate a version of the report called a “What-If” that shows a student’s degree progress should the change or add plans.
Degree Planner
Degree Planner is a scheduling tool within PeopleSoft/HighPoint Campus Experience (CX) that allows students to place their graduation requirements into terms and map their path to graduation.
- Shows the courses a student should take to graduate and allows them to move these courses to appropriate terms
- Hypothetical "what-if" paths can help students who are considering changes in their enrollment—such as adjusting credit load, changes to or single/dual majors, and study abroad—evaluate the impact these changes would have on their path to graduation.
- This can be used by advisors to identify students who are not on-track to complete their plans on time and may need degree planning assistance
- Improves on-time graduation results and provides data to help with department programming
